McCarthy and Stone invites locals to help name Hartford development
McCarthy and Stone, the UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, is inviting locals in Hartford to enter its ‘What’s in a Name’ competition, to suggest a name for its new Retirement Living development in the village.
As well as the honour of naming the new Bradburns Lane development and being granted the opportunity to attend the official opening, the person who comes up with the winning entry will also be awarded with a cheque for £250*.
For added inspiration, the housebuilder has released an artist’s impression of the forthcoming site, helping to bring the development to life for local residents and to illustrate how it will look when completed in 2017.
Fiona Brooks, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy and Stone North West, said: “We’re delighted to offer people from the local area the opportunity to name our forthcoming development in Hartford. We’re looking for a name which is relevant to the local community, and this can be anything from suggestions incorporating local landmarks, to those celebrating the history of the local area. Simply submit your idea by the Monday 19th September 2016 for your chance to scoop the prize!”
To be in with a chance of naming McCarthy and Stone’s new development and to win £250, all you have to do is send your name and contact details, along with your suggested development name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The competition is open to people of all ages from across the Hartford and Northwich area, and the deadline for entries is Monday 19th September 2016. Please mark your emails ‘Hartford’ in the subject header*.
Exclusively designed for those aged 60 and over, McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living development in Hartford is set to offer 35 one and two bedroom purpose-built, contemporary styled apartments. Providing much needed specialist accommodation for local retirees, the development will benefit from additional features such as a communal homeowners’ lounge, landscaped gardens and a guest suite, ideal for visiting friends and family. For added peace of mind the development will be run by a dedicated House Manager, and will include 24 hour emergency call points.
With construction due to commence this summer, the apartments are expected to be released for sale in spring 2017 with an estimated move-in date of autumn 2017. Anyone interested in the scheme is urged to register their interest now to ensure they have the opportunity to secure their pick of the plots when the development is released for sale.
