Gareth Williams, Site Manager for Lock House in Taunton, commented: “I am thrilled to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. The level of detail that goes into a McCarthy and Stone development is particularly high, and it gives me a great sense of satisfaction to work with the teams on site and deliver a new development to such a standard.”

Simon Mantell, Regional Managing Director for McCarthy and Stone South West, said: “We are extremely delighted to have a member of our team shortlisted for a BSG Award, this is a huge achievement and testament to us being placed amongst the best in the industry.

“As the leading provider of purpose-built retirement accommodation we take great pride in the work we do. Health and safety really is one of the fundamental principles of our business and we are committed to investing in training and regular site inspections to ensure we are continually improving. We wish Gareth the best of luck!”
