Solihull Retirees Enjoy Art Exhibition as Part of Open Day at Brueton Place

25 July 2019

Homeowners and staff at McCarthy and Stone’s Solihull Retirement Living development, Brueton Place, on Blossomfield Road, opened their doors to local retirees for an exclusive art showcase which coincided with an open day.

Guests had the opportunity to enjoy an exhibition of homeowner, Gordon Rainbow’s fantastic artwork, with all proceeds being donated to the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. All those who attended the special event were also invited to take a closer look at the development and to have a tour of the professionally-styled show complex. Visitors also spent time chatting to the McCarthy and Stone team, and retirees who are already living at the development.

Jane Mayhew, Regional Marketing Director for McCarthy and Stone, said: “Our open day was a great success and it was a pleasure to see so many local people enjoying Mr Rainbow’s artwork. We know Mr Rainbow was thrilled to raise £550 for MND Association. Events such as this give us the chance to showcase the sense of community and companionship all retirees can enjoy here at Brueton Place, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”
