McCarthy & Stone Offers Apartment of the month duo

11 March 2016

A public exhibition will give local residents the opportunity to view and comment on McCarthy and Stone’s preliminary plans to redevelop 3-13 Holmer Green Road, Hazlemere.

McCarthy and Stone’s plans seek to sympathetically redevelop the site with specially designed Retirement Living apartments to meet the needs of older people, together with car parking and professionally landscaped gardens.

The public exhibition will be held:

On: Friday 29th April 2016

At: Cedar Barn, Barn Road, Hazlemere, HP15 7BQ

Between: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The proposal site is ideally located for older person’s accommodation, being just minutes walking distance to local shops and service. McCarthy and Stone believes the redevelopment of the site offers an important opportunity to provide much needed Retirement Living apartments, increasing the housing choice for local older people in Hazlemere.

Ali Maruf, Regional Managing Director (North London) at McCarthy and Stone said: “We want to hear from the local community and our future home-owners before we submit a planning application. We’ll be displaying our plans at a public exhibition and our project team will be there to answer questions and listen to feedback on what we have done so far. The comments we receive will help us tailor our proposal into something people will want to see, enjoy and call home.

He continued: “There is a critical need for this type of specialist accommodation within Wycombe District Council. The population of over 60s is expected to increase from 42,000 to 56,000 by 2035.”

McCarthy and Stone developments give homeowners the time and opportunity to do things they’ve always wanted to do. The apartments allow people to retain their independence and be close to their family and friends, in a home suited specifically to their needs.

If you aren’t able to attend the public exhibition or would like further information, please contact McCarthy and Stone on 0800 298 7040. Additional information can be found at
