Hazlemere Fete - North London - Trinity Place

McCarthy and Stone, the housebuilder behind the new Retirement Living development Trinity Place in Hazlemere has given Hazlemere Fete a supporting boost with a £1,500 donation.

This year’s fete took place on bank holiday Monday in the grounds of Sir William Ramsay School, bringing a bigger range of activities and attractions than ever before, which has been hosted in Hazlemere since 1860.

Alongside classic cars, art and photography, and a Bucks Free Press exhibition, visitors enjoyed an array of musical acts, as well as a Spitfire display to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the RAF formation.

McCarthy and Stone’s Jane Moody and Lauren Lisgo, Sales Executives, took the chance to enjoy all the fun that the fete had to offer, and met with Bob Digby at Hazlemere Fete on the McCarthy and Stone sound stage, to see how the sponsorship money had allowed the fete to grow again this year.

Bob Digby said: “The Hazlemere fete is a fantastic way of bringing the community together, and we love being able to host a day of fun for locals and their families year after year.

“Financial assistance is hugely important to and us and helps make the fete a success. We are very grateful to McCarthy and Stone for its generous donation which allowed us to host more musical acts than ever before across two stages, alongside other event assistance.”

McCarthy and Stone’s Caroline Tiernan, Marketing Manager added: “As a company, we appreciate our responsibilities go further than building quality retirement apartments, and we also seek to create a positive legacy in the communities in which we build.

“The Hazlemere Fete work tirelessly for local people so it was an absolute pleasure to present this donation. The team at McCarthy and Stone’s Trinity Place development wishes Bob and the team every success with their ongoing commitment to the people of Hazlemere.”
