McCarthy and Stone seeks local charity to support in Blairgowrie
23 March 2016
Award-winning retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, is on the hunt for a local charity to support in and around Blairgowrie, as its new Darroch Gate development takes shape on Coupar Angus Road.
Construction is now well underway at Darroch Gate, and McCarthy and Stone is pledging to offer support to appropriate neighbourhood projects, charities, and one-off events in the area, as it nears completion on the Retirement Living apartments, aimed exclusively at the over 60s.
With community right at the heart of McCarthy and Stone, the company is interested to hear from local causes which require support in the form of donations; and while it cannot guarantee funding in every case, it has vowed to help as many organisations in the Blairgowrie area as possible.
Community groups and local charities are urged to get in touch as soon as possible by emailing requests to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please mark your emails ‘Blairgowrie Community Appeal’ in the subject header.
Rosemary Giovino, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at McCarthy and Stone in Scotland, said: “As the development in Blairgowrie takes shape and becomes part of the local landscape, it is part of our ongoing commitment to help build a positive legacy in the local community. Therefore it is fantastic to be able to offer to help causes, be it individuals or groups that are close to locals’ hearts in Blairgowrie.
“Our Darroch Gate development has already attracted interest from local purchasers wanting to stay in the area, but who are looking to downsize to a more manageable and lower maintenance property. I would therefore encourage anyone interested in securing one of these stunning apartments for themselves to get in touch without delay.”
Currently under construction and already for sale, Darroch Gate, is an attractive development of 36 one and two bedroom Retirement Living apartments. Prices and plans for the development are anticipated to be launched in late 2016, and the first homeowners will be welcomed in spring 2017.
Interest in the first phase of the development is building so retirees interested in Retirement Living in Blairgowrie are urged to get in touch without delay or risk disappointment.
Facilities at Darroch Gate will include a stunning homeowners’ lounge ideal for catching-up with friends, settling down with a good read or enjoying a game or two of cards, landscaped gardens to enjoy the best of the Highland weather and a convenient guest suite should homeowners have friends or relatives to stay. The development will also benefit from its very own House Manager, who will ensure the smooth-running of the development, a security entrance system, plus 24-hour emergency call points for added peace-of-mind for both homeowners and their families.
