Army Cadet Donation - Hazlemere - Trinity Place

McCarthy and Stone, the housebuilder behind the Retirement Living development, Trinity Place on Beaumont Road in Hazlemere has given Buckinghamshire Army Cadet Force a welcome boost with a £500 donation.

The Army Cadet Force (ACF) is a youth voluntary organisation that welcomes boys and girls aged 12 to 18 to join them for days of action, adventure, fun and friendship. With 45,000 cadets across the UK in over 1,700 locations, the ACF is one of the largest voluntary youth organisations in the UK.

The Buckinghamshire ACF is formed of a group of cadets and volunteers, based at Viney House in Aylesbury. McCarthy and Stone’s £500 donation has helped support the Buckinghamshire ACF on their recent trip mountain climbing trip in Bavaria.

Barry Fisher, Platoon Commander at Buckinghamshire ACF, said: “We are delighted to receive this kind donation and gesture of support from McCarthy and Stone. We had a fantastic trip to Bavaria, made all the better knowing we had the support of the community. We look forward to working with McCarthy and Stone in the future and continuing to inspire young people in Buckinghamshire and across the UK.”

Caroline Tiernan, Marketing Manager for McCarthy and Stone North London, added: “As a company we appreciate our responsibilities go further than building quality retirement apartments, we also seek to create a positive legacy in the communities in which we build.

“When we were looking for an organisation in the local area to support, the Buckinghamshire Army Cadet Force stood out for the great work they do and support they provide to young people in Buckinghamshire. As a developer which strives to enrich the lives of retirees, it was our absolute pleasure to present this donation to a group which enriches the lives of younger people, and we wish them every success with their upcoming trips and endeavours.”

McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living developments give older people the opportunity to downsize and maintain an active, independent lifestyle, surrounded by like-minded individuals.

Trinity Place will feature a stylish Club Lounge, ideal for socialising; beautiful landscaped gardens in which to relax; and a guest suite, providing a comfortable stay for visiting family and friends. A House Manager will take care of the day-to-day running of the development; and a security entrance system and 24-hour emergency call points will provide added peace-of-mind.

Currently selling off-plan, prices start from £370,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, and £470,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.

Located in the heart of the village between the Hazlemere Recreational Ground and Hazlemere Golf Club, future homeowners at the McCarthy and Stone development will be able to enjoy all that Hazlemere has to offer, with a doctor’s surgery, library, pharmacy and Post Office only half a mile from the development.

More than nine out of ten customers would recommend McCarthy and Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full Five Star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 13 years running.  McCarthy and Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade for 13 years, which is every year the awards have been run.
