McCarthy & Stone given the go ahead to regenerate Dunyeats Road

Broadstone planning application has been granted

Following extensive consultation with the Broadstone community and local councillors, McCarthy & Stone, Britain’s leading developer of retirement apartments, is pleased that its proposal to transform a site on Dunyeats Road was granted planning permission by Borough of Poole Council when it was determined on Thursday (4 December) afternoon.

McCarthy & Stone’s proposals will bring a new vibrant welcome on this approach into the centre of Broadstone, with 36 bespoke high-quality retirement apartments and three retail units which have also been designed to accommodate the Post Office.

We are delighted with this result and are pleased that the hard work to address previous concerns raised, by making significant amendments to our plans, was recognised.
