McCarthy & Stone delights with Christmas Celebrations in Cardiff

18 December 2013

The UK’s leading retirement developer, McCarthy & Stone, invited locals in Cardiff to get into the Christmas spirit by attending a special celebration which helped kick off the festive season in style.

Staff at Thomas Court on Marlborough Road invited guests this week to join homeowners for a festive sit down lunch which was catered for by the on-site restaurant.

Jacqui Meenan, sales and marketing manager for McCarthy & Stone, said: “We were delighted to help locals get in to the festive spirit by holding our Christmas lunch, which really helped get everyone in to the yuletide spirit. Coming together for a celebration like this reflects one of the best aspects of life at one of our developments – the sense of community. Living amongst like-minded individuals in a secure and safe environment means our homeowners can enjoy an independent and fulfilling retirement here.”

Guests to Thomas Court, until the 30th December, will also have the chance to receive a Christmas present worth up to £30. Gifts include £10 worth of Thorntons vouchers, £20 worth of Love 2 Shop vouchers or £30 worth of Marks and Spencer vouchers, with one special bauble, hidden at one of McCarthy & Stone’s many developments across the region, containing the chance to win the star prize of £500 worth of John Lewis vouchers.

McCarthy & Stone is currently selling one and two bedroom Assisted Living apartments exclusively for the over 70s at Thomas Court.

Its Assisted Living developments offer the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment specifically designed for the over 70s. In addition, they offer a helping hand through flexible care and support packages, including domestic assistance, that make life that little bit easier.
