McCarthy & Stone Appeals to Grantham Community

24 April 2013

McCarthy & Stone donated 500 high visibility reflective armbands for the children at Juniper Green School

Do you know of a cause worthy of support in your local community?  If yes, retirement property developer McCarthy & Stone wants to know about it!

Perhaps you know of a charity group that’s trying to raise funds to volunteer abroad, maybe your junior football club needs a new kit or perhaps your local children’s hospice needs more blankets.  Whatever the cause, big or small, McCarthy & Stone is asking people in Grantham and the surrounding area to tell them all about it!

Gill Sabin, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy & Stone, explains:

“McCarthy & Stone prides itself on building communities for the over 60s and by launching this appeal, we hope we will be able to do our bit to help some really worthwhile causes within the local area.  We will select the cause we feel is in most need of our support and we will look at the best way in which we can help.”

If you know someone who you feel could benefit from McCarthy & Stone’s Community Causes appeal, please email or alternatively, write a letter to McCarthy & Stone’s Community Causes, Haslimann Taylor PR, 2nd Floor, Lancaster House, 67 Newhall Street, Birmingham, B3 1NQ by 6th May 2013.

McCarthy & Stone is currently building 41 one and two bedroom Later Living apartments at its Grantham development located on St Catherine’s Road.

Each property will offer continued home ownership and will be designed with Later Living in mind, providing an environment that not only offers independence but also companionship, privacy and security. The development will feature thoughtful design features such as 24-hour personal emergency call service and a camera TV entry system for added security. A relaxed community feel is created through the provision of a shared lounge and extensive landscaped gardens, with visiting family and friends also being provided for in the development’s guest suite.
