Mountbatten House - Sparkling Opening

Local retirees joined the Mayor of Dacorum, Councillor Rosie Sutton, last week to celebrate the opening of our new Retirement Living development, Mountbatten House, on Hempstead Road in Bovingdon.

After a guided tour of the brand new show complex and on-site facilities at Mountbatten House, the Mayor marked the development’s opening with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. She said: “It was my pleasure to be part of this important milestone at Mountbatten House and to see for myself what a fantastic new development it is.

“Living independently and securely is extremely important; and, with a growing number of people reaching retirement age, I’m delighted developments such as this are being built to provide retirees with a number of options to make the most out of their later years.”

The event at Mountbatten House provided an opportunity for people in Bovingdon to find out more about how they could enjoy their retirement in a quality, low maintenance apartment, designed exclusively for those aged 60 and over.
