Maidenhead Retirees Enjoy an Afternoon of Pimms On the Terrace at Elgar Place

25 July 2019

Homeowners and staff at McCarthy and Stone’s Elgar Place Retirement Living development on Bridge Avenue in Maidenhead, recently opened their doors to local retirees for live jazz music and Pimm’s.

Guests who attended the special event spent a fantastic afternoon sipping Pimm’s on the roof terrace, while also enjoying live entertainment, provided by MPR Jazz.

As well as basking in the sunshine with a glass in hand, guests were able to take a closer look at Elgar Place. The event provided the opportunity to take a tour of the show complex, meet the McCarthy and Stone team, and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.

Julie Ward, National Sales Director for McCarthy and Stone South East, said: “Our Pimm’s on the terrace event was a great success. Everyone enjoyed having a glass of Pimm’s whilst soaking up the sun on our roof terrace, and MPR Jazz put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests.

“The event was a good chance for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at Elgar Place, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”

McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living developments are carefully designed to enable retirees to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, in a safe and secure environment, with flexible care and support available.
