Over 400 retirees and their families turned out for an exclusive preview of McCarthy & Stone’s new Retirement Living development, Lantern Court in Ilfracombe, this week.
The event offered visitors a glimpse of the development’s fully furnished show complex and
gave them the opportunity to take a tour of the communal facilities before meeting to mingle in the residents’ lounge and admire the breathtaking views across the harbour with a complementary glass of bubbly.
Aileen King, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone, commented: “We are really delighted that Lantern Court received such a warm response from the many visitors who came to take a look around throughout the course of the event. It’s been great to see that Lantern Court has been so well received within the area.
“The development represents an exciting opportunity for retirees in Ilfracombe who may not have previously considered the many benefits of Retirement Living with McCarthy & Stone. At our event, we hope we were able to show our guests just how easy it could be to make a dream move here a reality.”
Retirement Living from McCarthy & Stone is designed to enable the over 60’s the freedom to enjoy their retirement to the fullest, safe in the knowledge that they still own their own home.
