Grab a slice of the action - Hagley retirees invited to Macmillan coffee morning

20 September 2017

Leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, is inviting local retirees and their families to attend its Macmillan Coffee Morning at Sanderson Court in Hagley on Friday 29th September.

Between 11am and 12.30pm, all are invited to visit the Sanderson Court development on Park Road. Visitors can all enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake in the coffee lounge, in return for a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support. The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. The annual event encourages people all over the UK to host their own coffee mornings, and donations on the day are made to Macmillan.

As well as helping to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, Hagley locals will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the development and to experience for themselves some of the unique lifestyle benefits on offer at Sanderson Court

Martin Edwards, Regional Managing Director for McCarthy and Stone West Midlands, said: “We are really looking forward to putting the kettle on and hosting our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Sanderson Court on Friday 29th September. We hope local people will join us to raise money and eat lots of cake.”

Comprising an attractive selection of 44 one and two bedroom age exclusive apartments, Sanderson Court provides the best in modern independent living within a safe and secure environment.

Facilities at Sanderson Court include a coffee lounge with WiFi, ideal for socialising with friends, landscaped gardens in which to relax, and a convenient guest suite should homeowners have friends or relatives to stay. The House Manager is on hand to take care of the smooth-running of the development; and security entrance systems and 24 hour emergency call points provide peace-of-mind for homeowners and their families.

Ideal for those who want to ‘lock up and leave’, homeowners have total piece of mind with 24-hour fire and security monitoring, maintenance of communal areas and ground maintenance all taken care of. Selected apartments feature a balcony, terraces or patio; and each apartment also comes with its own privately allocated parking space.

More than nine out of ten customers would recommend McCarthy and Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full Five Star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 12 years’ running.  McCarthy and Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade for 12 years, which is every year the awards have been run.
