Elizabeth Court welcomes all for open weekend

15 May 2017

Leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, is inviting Bournville retirees to take a closer look at Elizabeth Court when it opens the doors to the Retirement Living development for two open days on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th May.

From 11am until 4pm, all are welcome to visit the development on Oak Tree Lane to take a tour of the professionally-styled show apartments. There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the benefits of Retirement Living in Bournville.

Designed exclusively for the over 60s, Elizabeth Court features a collection of 21 one and two bedroom luxury apartments, with prices currently starting from £189,950 and £269,950 respectively. With the development proving popular with local retirees, the forthcoming open days offer the chance to reserve one of the remaining apartments.  The experienced sales team will also be on hand at the event with advice on how to make moving to Elizabeth Court even easier.

Robert Monkman, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at McCarthy and Stone West Midlands, said: “What better way to get set for the summer than to discover all that Retirement Living has to offer. We are looking forward to opening the doors to Bournville retirees on the 18th and 19th May, and to showcasing this high quality development which is helping to enrich the lives of local people.”

McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living developments are carefully designed to offer homeowners the very best in independent living within a safe and secure environment, with the opportunity to benefit from companionship when desired, as well as privacy when needed.

The award-winning housebuilder offers a range of incentives aimed at making moving even easier and more affordable. McCarthy & Stone’s Smooth Move service includes contributions towards estate agent and legal fees. Alternatively, eligible homeowners can choose to Part Exchange their existing home, whether trading up or down.  This helps to avoid estate agent fees, sales chains, and the stress of moving out and in on the same day.

Facilities at Elizabeth Court include a homeowners’ lounge, comfortable communal areas ideal for socialising with friends, and landscaped gardens. Should homeowners wish for friends and family to visit, a convenient guest suite is available to ensure they enjoy a pleasant stay.

Elizabeth Court also benefits from a house manager, who is on hand to ensure the smooth running of the development, organise community events and activities, and provide support to homeowners. A range of security and support services are also available, including 24-hour emergency call points which provide peace-of-mind for homeowners and their families.

More than nine out of ten customers would recommend McCarthy and Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full Five Star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 12 years’ running.  McCarthy and Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade, which is every year the awards have been run.

The open day events are expected to be very popular and those interested in Retirement Living at Elizabeth Court are invited to call 0800 201 4741 or click here.
