Discovery day for Retirement Living PLUS apartments in Crowthorne

21 September 2017

The UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, is inviting retirees to explore the benefits of downsizing at its age exclusive apartments in Crowthorne at a Discovery Day on Friday 6th October.

Currently under construction, an artist’s impression has been released to show how Birch Place will look when complete. Guests at the event will be the first to find out about apartment specifications at the Retirement Living PLUS development, alongside key dates for prices and reservations.

Retirees are invited to Hilton St Anne’s Manor on London Road from 12pm until 3pm to enjoy light refreshments, with the sales team on hand to answer any questions potential purchasers may have. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet with McCarthy & Stone’s moving specialists, who can advise on everything from selling a property to packing your belongings.

Julie Ward, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy and Stone South East, comments: “Our new Retirement Living PLUS development in Crowthorne will feature a choice of high quality, low maintenance apartments designed to suit those who want to enjoy a full and active retirement. Research has highlighted that 50% of pensioners in the South East are considering moving to smaller homes, highlighting the growing attraction of downsizing in the region, and the need for this form of specialist retirement housing.”

“We are delighted to be able to welcome interested purchasers to the Hilton St Anne’s Manor on Friday 6th October for our Discovery Day. We would encourage local retirees interested in hearing more about Retirement Living PLUS at Birch Place to come along and make the most of this great opportunity to find out more about this stunning new development.”

McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living PLUS developments offer retirees the opportunity to maintain an independent lifestyle, while also having access to tailored domestic and personal assistance to help them manage their day-to-day lives if needed - with an on-site restaurant providing freshly prepared meals daily.

An Estates Manager at the Crowthorne development will be on hand to take care of the smooth-running of the development; while security entrance systems and 24 hour emergency call points will provide added peace-of-mind for homeowners and their families. Facilities will also include a homeowners’ lounge, ideal for socialising with friends; landscaped gardens; and a convenient guest suite, should homeowners have friends or relatives to stay. Offering excellent road and rail links, Crowthorne is an ideal retirement location, with easy access to the rest of the UK, including the cultural attractions and amenities of Ascot, Windsor and Reading.
