Crowthorne Retirees Enjoy an Afternoon of Cocktails in the Garden

25 July 2019

Homeowners and staff at McCarthy and Stone’s Birch Place Retirement Living Plus development on Dukes Ride in Crowthorne, recently opened their doors to local retirees for live jazz music and cocktails.

Guests who attended the special event enjoyed a fantastic afternoon sipping a variety of cocktails in the landscaped gardens, while also enjoying live entertainment from MPR Jazz.

As well as basking in the sunshine with a cocktail in hand, guests were able to take a closer look at Birch Place. The event provided the opportunity to take a tour of the show complex, meet the McCarthy and Stone team, and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.

Julie Ward, National Sales Director for McCarthy and Stone South East, said: “Our garden party event was a great success. Everyone enjoyed learning more about the cocktails which were served, and MPR Jazz put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests.

“The event was a good chance for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at Birch Place, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”
