Beacon Court Celebrates with Blooming Colourful Official Opening in Anstruther

27 June 2019

McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living development Beacon Court in Anstruther has been officially opened by Regional Managing Director Jonathan Fair who unveiled a commemorative plaque at this popular coastal development.  The event was also the opportunity for Beacon Court to confirm its support once again for the Anstruther in Bloom campaign which provides beautiful colour floral baskets at the development and throughout the town itself.

Homeowners and guests from the development were entertained to a great selection of songs by singer Alan Parker, and everyone enjoyed a buffet lunch and a glass of fizz to celebrate the official opening.

Jonathan Fair, Managing Director for McCarthy & Stone in Scotland, said: “It was lovely to see so many of our homeowners taking the opportunity to be together and mark the official opening of their development.  The majority of homeowners are now settled into their retirement living apartments, and for us to mark the official opening of the development with so many of them present marks a key milestone in this development’s progress.”

McCarthy and Stone’s Retirement Living developments are designed to offer homeowners the very best in independent living within a safe and secure environment, with the opportunity to benefit from companionship when homeowners want it and privacy and assistance when they need it.

The developments also benefit from their very own House Manager, who will ensure the smooth running of the development, a security entrance system, plus a 24-hour emergency call points providing added peace of mind for homeowners and their families.

Lorraine Paterson, Sales & Marketing Director for McCarthy & Stone in Scotland, adds: “Retirement Living offers those over 60 the independence of home ownership combined with the peace of mind of additional security and low maintenance.  With the final few apartments now available in Anstruther from £157,000, this popular development offers retirees a stunning retirement location to consider overlooking the Firth of Forth.”
