McCarthy & Stone retirement apartments and flats in Northwich

The UK’s leading developer of retirement apartments, McCarthy & Stone, has this month revealed a collection of brand new artist’s impressions which showcase the exciting designs for its delightful forthcoming Assisted Living development at Northwich Marina.

The drawings illustrate how the site, which forms part of the extensive regeneration plans being delivered by H20, a joint venture between British Waterways and Bloc, will look when it is completed in early 2015.

Fiona Brooks, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone, comments: “Everything we do is built around a belief that later life can be rich, rewarding and fulfilling. Our new development in Northwich is designed to do just that and we hope that by releasing these images we will help to start bringing the entire redevelopment to life for people living locally.”

Construction of the McCarthy & Stone properties is proposed to commence during winter 2013 and when finished, will offer 58 one and two bedroom Assisted Living apartments exclusively for the over 70s.

With over 35 years of experience, McCarthy & Stone has become Britain’s leading provider of retirement apartments, having built more than 45,000 apartments in 1,000 different schemes.

Its Assisted Living developments offer the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment specifically designed for the over 70s. In addition, they offer a helping hand through flexible care and support packages, including domestic assistance, that make life that little bit easier.

Facilities include a shared lounge, an on-site restaurant, guest suite, laundry room and a lift. A dedicated estate manager ensures the smooth running of the development and staff are on site 24 hours a day. There is also a security entrance system plus 24-hour emergency call points to provide peace of mind for both homeowners’ and their families. All properties are low maintenance and energy efficient.

In addition to offering age exclusive apartments, the retirement developer also provides a range of financial services, including a pension annuity service, equity release, legal services and guaranteed funeral plans.

Apartments are expected to be released for sale next summer. Anyone wanting to find out more is invited to contact McCarthy & Stone now on 0800 919 132 to register their interest.
