Artist impression of Singer Court revealed

31 May 2013

McCarthy & Stone has this month revealed the first artist’s impression of its exciting new Retirement Living development, Singer Court in Paignton.  Retirees are invited to register their interest now and be among the first to receive information about the new apartments once they are released for sale.

The drawing illustrates how the site, located on Manor Crescent, will look when it is completed in June 2014. Construction is underway and when finished will offer 55 one and two bedroom Later Living apartments exclusively for the over 60s.

Lorena Brown, national sales director for McCarthy & Stone, comments: “Everything we do is built around a belief that later life can be rich, rewarding and fulfilling. Our new development in Paignton is designed to do just that and we hope releasing this image will help start bringing it to life for people living locally.”

With over 35 years of experience, McCarthy & Stone has become Britain’s leading provider of retirement apartments, having built more than 45,000 apartments in 1,000 different schemes.

Its Retirement Living developments offer the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment specifically designed for later life. Facilities include a shared lounge, guest suite, laundry room and a lift. A dedicated house manager ensures the smooth running of the development and a security entrance system plus 24-hour emergency call points provide peace of mind for both purchasers and their families. All properties are low maintenance and energy efficient.

Singer Court is situated on Manor Crescent, a short distance from Torquay Road, the main arterial route in Paignton town centre and ideally located for shops and amenities. The development is close to the Oldway Mansion which was purchased in 1871 by Isaac Merritt Singer, the founder of the Singer sewing machine company.

Apartments are expected to be released for sale in December 2013. Anyone wanting to find out more is invited to contact McCarthy & Stone now on 0800 201 4742 to register their interest.

In addition to offering age exclusive apartments, the retirement developer also provides a range of financial services, including a pension annuity service, equity release, legal services and guaranteed funeral plans.
