All Shook Up! Upper Norwood Retirees Enjoy An Afternoon Of Cocktails

20 June 2019

Homeowners and staff at McCarthy and Stone’s Lewis House Retirement Living development on Beulah Hill in Upper Norwood, opened their doors to local retirees for live jazz music and cocktails.

Guests who attended the special event enjoyed a fantastic afternoon sipping a variety of cocktails in the social lounge, while also enjoying live entertainment, provided by MPR Jazz.

Guests were able to take a closer look at Lewis House as the event provided the opportunity to take a tour of the show complex, meet the McCarthy and Stone team, and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.

Kevin Sims, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy and Stone South East, said: “Our cocktails afternoon event was a great success. Everyone enjoyed learning more about the cocktails from The Great Mobile Bar Company, and MPR Jazz put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests.

“The event was a good chance for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at Lewis House, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”

Comprising a selection of 26 one and two bedroom Retirement Living apartments, exclusively designed for people aged 60 and over, Lewis House provides everything homeowners could want for a relaxing retirement.
