Information Day for Foxmead Court Retirement Development

27 September 2013

The UK’s leading retirement developer, McCarthy & Stone, is holding a special information day on Wednesday 2nd October to offer anyone over the age of 60 the opportunity to find out more about its forthcoming Retirement Living development in Storrington, Foxmead Court.

With construction already well underway at the site on Meadowside, McCarthy & Stone is inviting interested parties to attend an event at the Roundabout Hotel on Monkmead Lane, West Chiltington.

Between 10.30am and 4pm, with presentations at 11am and 2pm, visitors will be able to hear all about the plans for the new development ahead of its completion in the November, and find out about the many benefits of Retirement Living and speak to a dedicated team of professional advisors about the properties and lifestyle on offer.

Interested parties can also find out about McCarthy & Stone’s fantastic new Moving Experience* package, where the purchaser can have estate agent and solicitors’ fees covered by the retirement developer.  And, in order to help with the day of the move, a free de-cluttering and removal service can be arranged, which includes packing and unpacking belongings.

Julie Ward, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy & Stone, explained: “We understand that the decision to move in later life can be a difficult one, not only for the retirees themselves, but also for their families. At McCarthy & Stone, we aim to make the buying process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

“By attending our event at the Roundabout Hotel, visitors will be able to meet with our advisors and discuss the options available to help making moving a reality. It will also provide a great opportunity for guests to take a look at what life at Foxmead Court could be like, and we urge anyone interested to pop along and see us on the day.”

At the event, anyone wishing to find out more about the plans, prices and reserving off plan will be able to make a follow-up appointment with the development’s professional advisor, Alex Rayner.

Retirement Living at Foxmead Court offers the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment specifically designed for later life. Facilities include a homeowners lounge including coffee area, guest suite, laundry room and a lift. A dedicated house manger ensures the smooth running of the development and a security entrance system plus 24-hour emergency call points provide peace of mind for both homeowners and their families. All properties are low maintenance and energy efficient.

In addition to offering age exclusive apartments, the retirement developer also provides a range of financial services, including a pension annuity service, equity release, legal services and guaranteed funeral plans.
