Retirement living in Eaton Norwich

Eaton is an attractive village, historically renown for brewing and roses, with thatched cottages, period charm and an unusual traditional painted wooden sign featuring an elephant holding a barrel. Added in 1956, it is thought to be a play on the village name: ‘e’ for elephant with a ‘tun’ (barrel).
