I had excellent service from Lyn Constantine when I decided to move from the Midlands down to Cornwall. Lyn found exactly what I wanted very quickly and all the necessary paperwork and references etc was dealt with very proficiently and within a matter of a few weeks I was living in a lovely apartment in Bude - and I love it! I found the apartment on Monday had a chat with Lyn regarding its suitability for my mom. We did a Whatsapp viewing on the Wednesday and reserved. My mother is very happy living here. It's situated in the centre of a pretty village with many amenities within walking distance. She values the feeling of security, the emergency call system, security door entry, fire detection and alarm system. Especially now she is a widow, she appreciates more the friendship and company of other residents and they are able to meet together for morning coffee, afternoon tea, DVD evenings, takeaways etc. in the beautiful residents' lounge. She is very fortunate to have an amazing manager who can put her hand to most things and is very helpful and thoughtful.

She is very competent in managing the property whilst being a very helpful person, concerned with all individual problems. After living 50yrs in my previous house, moving 7 years ago to my apartment was the right move for me, mostly all of the residents here are friendly, helpful and considerate and we enjoy many sociable times together. Jane Jones, our house manager, has only been with us for two years but in that time she's worked so hard to keep our building and gardens in tip top condition, being cheerful but firm with the gardeners, cleaners contractors etc, also helping out where she can herself. Jane has also been so helpful and considerate to any needs we have needed, we would all be lost without her!

I have recently purchased at the Chalfont St Peter development and although it has been touch and go, it has now all gone through and I am delighted with the sales person Mr Larry Aldridge. I have to say that all visits to Fussells Court in Worle have been amazing. The house manager, Sharon, cannot do enough for the residents and goes above and beyond what is expected from her. There is a great atmosphere at Fussells Court, all of the residents are happy and there's a great community spirit, which has been ever more important in these difficult times. My Aunt lives there and always tells me how much she feels cared for and supported, especially by Sharon the manager on site, who she says is hardworking, empathetic and always looks to find a solution to any problems we have. The communal areas are always clean and you can tell it's well kept. I'm very happy with the facilities and how happy my Aunt is. I would certainly recommend taking a look if you are considering a retirement community for yourself or family member.

I don’t often leave reviews, however on this occasion I feel I would like say how happy I am with McCarthy Stone, Fussells Court, my aunt has lived here for many years and settled well. It's a lovely community. Under normal times there is a hairdresser, coffee mornings and the nit and natter classes, days out. During covid, these things have been reduced, they have been very supportive and set up a buddy system. The house manager couldn't have done more, always available and has taught my aunt and other use Skype. I would like to thank McCarthy Stone and Sharon for the safe haven they provide for all there. I would highly recommend.
