MP Visits New Isleworth Retirement Community
Ruth Cadbury, MP for Brentford and Isleworth, met Isleworth retirees last week when she paid a visit to Beck House
Following the news that around three million people in the UK over 65 want to downsize , Ruth Cadbury MP was invited to Beck House by the McCarthy and Stone team at the development.
Area Sales Manager, Denise Gilchrist, Sales Consultant, Bobby Juttla, and Estates Manager, Sandra Vieira, led a tour of the development and demonstrated how Retirement Living is helping to meet the needs of Isleworth retirees, while also helping them to lead happier and healthier lives.
The team explained how McCarthy and Stone’s focus on its customers and its people led to its early response to Covid-19 – and to infection rates across its UK development’s being 27% lower than among the over 65s population and four times lower than the over 85s.
Ruth Cadbury MP commented: “It was a pleasure to visit Beck House. The Retirement Living development is great for those looking to enjoy an independent and active lifestyle in retirement, and I enjoyed meeting and chatting to the Beck House team and residents. It’s clear everyone values the quality of life afforded by their surroundings and the freedom of having a range of services and support on their doorstep.”
Denise Gilchrist, Area Sales Manager for McCarthy and Stone, said: “We were thrilled to welcome Ruth Cadbury MP to Beck House. We are committed to delivering an exceptional lifestyle, and day-in day-out we see the difference that this can make to our customers and their retirement years. We are very proud of the new community which has been created here in the heart of Isleworth and look forward to seeing it continue to grow and flourish.”
In July, Doreen celebrated her 99th birthday at Amelia Court, surrounded by her family and homeowners who joined her for a socially distanced party in the landscaped gardens.
