About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Internal Auditor to join our Risk & Internal Audit department within Head Office, Bournemouth.

As the Regional Internal Auditor, you will assess whether the Regional businesses are complying with the Group’s core set of policies and procedures.  Failure to do so could result in a weakening of the regional control environment, and a failure to achieve strategic and operational objectives and creates financial risk.  It could also result in the contravention of various legal requirements, leading to fines and reputational damage.  

The role will also provide support, as required, to the Risk & Internal Audit Manager in helping to deliver the rest of the Internal Audit Plan, which is based on the key risks to the business.

About you
To be successful in this role you will be educated to at least HND level or equivalent.  You will be studying towards or a newly qualified Internal Auditor (IIA) or Accountant. Alternatively, you will already have training for a relevant qualification or you will wish to begin training as an internal auditor.

You will have previous experience and understanding of how a large sized business operates.  Internal or external audit experience would be desirable.  You will have good analytical skills having the ability to identify significant issues.  Excellent communication and IT skills are necessary for this role.  Additionally, you will be proficient in report writing.
