About the role
The North East region require an ambitious and experienced Planner to join their team to provide professional support and assistance to the region in advising on site acquisition, the maximisation of development opportunities and the securing of planning permissions as quickly as possible.

About you
The successful candidate will have a recognised planning qualification, RTPI membership and proven experience of at least 5 years either in the public or private sector.

Development management and residential experience will be key requirements. Excellent analytical and report writing skills plus self-confidence and a strong desire to succeed are attributes we are seeking. An ability to handle an individual caseload as well as playing a senior role in the team is essential. Experience of handling appeals would also be beneficial.

Travel will be required for this role as you will potentially travel to sites and meetings across Yorkshire and the North East.
