Relief Care & Support Assistant, Wilton Court, Kenilworth

 Salary: £8.31-£8.48

 Hours: zero hour contract - up to 10 hours per week for relief cover. This will include working evenings and alternate weekends

We have an exciting opportunity at Wilton Court, Southbank Road, Kenilworth which is a stunning development with 49 luxury privately-owned apartments, each with either one or two bedrooms. The team at Wilton Court provide staffing and management cover 24 hours a day, with domestic support and personal care by arrangement to create an environment combining security, comfort and support to the Homeowners.  

We are looking for a special kind of person for this role. A dynamic individual who is passionate about building a community and enhancing the lives of our home owners, and who also has a proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to their work.

As a Care and Support Assistant, you will provide housekeeping, domestic support and personal care services including washing, dressing, feeding, toileting and manual handling as appropriate. In addition to the core domestic hours, your manager will allocate care hours as they are required by homeowners.  In order to fulfil the requirements of this combined role, the postholder will be required to deliver a proportion of the care hours available on the development as requested by the manager, and undertake to work a range of shifts including early and late in order to meet the requirements of the development.

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of working with and understanding the needs of older people

Be willing to work towards the Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent

Appointments are subject to a satisfactory certificate from the DBS.
