We have an exciting opportunity at Amelia Court, 1 Union Place, Worthing, BN11 1LG, which is a stunning development with 63 luxury privately-owned apartments, each with either one or two bedrooms. The team at Amelia Court will provide staffing and management cover 24 hours a day, to create an environment combining security, comfort and support to the Homeowners.

We are looking for a special kind of person for this role. A dynamic individual who is passionate about building a community and enhancing the lives of our home owners, and who also has a proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to their work.

As an Assistant Manager you are a member of the management team undertaking day shifts and twilight shifts. You will have responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of the home owners and staff while covering a shift. During the waking hours you are the first line of response on call. Monitor that the staff team provide high quality care and support to home owners.

The successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and show documental evidence of their right to work in the UK.

Mandatory requirements of the role:

  • Experience of working with and understanding the needs of older people
  • Experience of working in a care and/or support role
  • Holds Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
  • Oversea the delivery of an excellent standard of customer service
