YourLife Management Services have a fantastic opportunity available for a Care and Support Assistant. This established development features 57 privately owned luxury apartments in an Assisted Living environment. With 24 hour a day cover on site it means we can support our Home Owners to excel within an independent lifestyle for as long as possible.

Just 30 minutes from Birmingham, this Retirement Living PLUS development is located in the desirable village of Tettenhall, west of Wolverhampton City Centre. The new development will feature 29 modern one bedroom apartments and 28 two bedroom apartments within easy walking distance of a leafy park and a quiet river.

The village itself has all the facilities you need, including within easy walking distance of a leafy park and a quiet river with a Co-Op, butcher, delicatessen, bank, library, dry cleaners, and Post Office all a short walk from the complex. A regular bus service runs from right outside the entrance and can take you quickly into the city centre. In the centre of Tettenhall, you’ll find a larger variety of amenities.

About the role:

Our Care & Support Assistant role is a varied, fulfilling and plays an extremely important part within each of our developments.

Within this position you will be responsible for a range of tasks:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Domestic Support
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Restaurant Service
  • Care - You will be required to deliver a proportion of the care hours available on this development as requested by your manager. Personal care services can include washing, dressing, feeding, toileting and manual handling as appropriate.

What do you need?

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team, focusing on our homeowner’s well-being whilst delivering an exceptional service at all times.

You will need to be flexible to support on a range of shift times from early mornings to late evening to support your wider team.

  • Experience of working within a similar environment
  • A Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Adults) or be prepared to work towards.
