Application guidelines

If you decide to apply for one of our vacancies, the first step is for you to send your CV and a covering letter to, explaining your interest in the role and in McCarthy & Stone. If you are short-listed you will be asked to complete an application form at a later stage.

Keeping your personal data confidential is important to us. Any information you send us is confidential and will be held securely in line with Data Protection guidelines. It is only used by our Human Resources department and anyone directly involved in the recruitment process. It helps us to assess whether you might be right for the role and for quality monitoring.

If you are successful in your application, the application form will become part of your personnel records. If you are not successful we will retain your application for six months for monitoring purposes and so that we have your details in the event of any future positions becoming available for which you might be suitable for. By submitting the application form you are giving us your consent to use and store the information you share with us.
