McCarthy Stone reveals name of new retirement development in Redditch

The UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy Stone, has announced the name of its new Retirement Living development in Redditch.

Located on Clive Road, the new development of 45 luxury one and two bedroom age-exclusive apartments has been officially named Milward Place in recognition of Henry Milward and Sons, the first manufacturer of needles in Redditch. As the business grew, Henry Milward and Sons helped put Redditch on the map – the town is now recognised as the hub of the needle industry in the UK.
