Chris Beardshaw

Our garden at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2013 is designed by Chris Beardshaw the award-winning garden designer and BBC broadcaster.  Chris is also involved with a wide range of horticultural projects and educational initiatives. His broadcasting career spans over 15 years and he can be heard as a regular panellist on Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time and is currently on our screens in BBC2’s Beechgrove Garden series which runs till October 2013.

He has also written a number of books with his latest book ‘100 Plants that almost changed the World’ was recently published May this year. He contributes regularly to gardening magazines and lifestyle publications and is currently writing a monthly column for The English Garden Magazine.

Chris balances his media career with his successful private design and consultancy practice which takes him around the world on gardening projects and has recently created  created a garden in the famous Gorky Park for the Moscow Flower Show.
