‘Try Before You Buy’ is a special scheme available at selected developments only that enables customers, who are seriously interested in moving to McCarthy & Stone, to experience the lifestyle first hand to help them appreciate the full benefits of retirement living. Don’t worry there is no obligation; we are confident that customers will like what they see and enjoy the experience which is why we have put this scheme in place.
Retirement living is so much more than just buying an apartment. We want to give customers quality time to appreciate the many benefits associated with retirement living from McCarthy & Stone.
Customers that have already used ‘Try Before You Buy’ have unanimously expressed how useful and enjoyable the experience was in helping them make up their minds about moving to a McCarthy & Stone development. Being able to meet the House Manager and other residents, spending time familiarising themselves with the carefully designed apartment and security features and getting to know the local area and facilities were all particularly useful.
In most cases the accommodation will consist of a fully furnished apartment, however on some developments the guest suite is used. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
The scheme is open to all guests who have reached the age requirements of the development (usually 60 years) and is subject to availability. ‘Try Before You Buy’ provides accommodation for one or two people for a maximum of two nights at participating developments.
