Yate Town Council organise events such as the traditional free Kingsgate Park Easter Egg Hunt and Easter bonnet parade. Also there is the free 2-day Community Music Festival which takes place in Kingsgate Park each summer. This is a very popular event, attracting in the region of 5,000 people each year.
Every month Yate Heritage Centre holds a range of exciting events such as architecture days, Open Art Exhibitions and history group meetings.
