An apartment and development designed around your needs
All apartments are designed to be wheelchair-friendly, and if you've got a mobility scooter there's a secure mobility scooter room to park and charge it.
If bending down and lifting is a concern, inside your apartment you'll notice that the ovens and plug sockets are at waist height.
Light switches are illuminated to make them easier to find, and kitchen windows are operated at the touch of a button so you don't have to stretch across the work surface.
There's non-slip flooring in the bathroom, a level access shower room and lever taps for easier operation.
In shared areas we make sure there's a handrail in all corridors so you can move around the development with confidence. In the laundry we also make sure that our washing machines are raised so that you don't need to bend down to use them. Should you need immediate assistance, no matter where you are in the development, your pendant alarm can be used to alert us.
Flexible care and support to suit you
We have our own care team on site, YourLife Management Services, who will meet with you (and your family if you wish) to agree a personal care package that suits you. It’s completely flexible.
We’ll monitor you to make sure you’re receiving all the help you need to be sure that you only pay for the additional care and support you need. Our personal care and support packages can include anything from having company on shopping or social trips to medication prompting. You can choose our care service or we can recommend a number of approved registered care agencies in the locality.
A flexible price list too
With an hour’s domestic help every week included in your service charge, many time-consuming chores like cleaning, are a thing of the past. If you’d like any further help, such as having your laundry done for you, we can sort that out too. There’s a charge, but we’re really flexible and help can be increased or decreased as and when you like.
Main domestic tasks that can be carried out by our services team:
- Light household cleaning.
- General tidying.
- Washing and ironing.
- Changing bedding.
- Managing heating systems.
- Helping to look after pets.
- Shopping for food.
- Posting letters or parcels.
Examples of personal care provision:
- Help with dressing and undressing.
- Washing, bathing and grooming.
- Help with mobility problems.
- Medication monitoring and help with skin care.
- Fitting of callipers and other surgical aids.
- Meal preparation, dietary consideration and meal time supervision.
- Assistance with rehabilitation and exercise programmes.
- Help with getting up and going to bed.

Our Assisted Living developments all have restaurants where you can enjoy a reasonably-priced, delicious three-course meal, freshly prepared every day. That means wonderful food without the preparation, washing up or tidying away.
