New retirement apartments planned for sale in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Major attractions include the old world charm of Leigh-on-Sea; Hadleigh Castle 5 miles west of Southend-on-Sea;  Chalkwell Park with bowling centre; the nature reserve at Gunners Park in Shoeburyness; Edwards Hall Park in Eastwood, and Rayleigh Mount, a National Trust property adjacent to Rayleigh Windmill.  There are also plenty of facilities available such as Thorpe Hall Golf Club in Thorpe Bay; Cliffs Pavilion theatre in Westcliff-on-Sea; the Thames Estuary Yacht Club and Westcliff Casino, which is the second largest casino in Great Britain.

The town hosts major annual events such as Southend's Festival of the Air, Film Festival and a grand Carnival amongst others.

Southend-on-Sea Town Centre is a unique shopping destination with independent stores and high street retailers; two large modern indoor shopping centres, the Royals Shopping Centre and Victoria Shopping Centre, as well as regular farmers and craft markets.

The development is ideally situated on Southchurch Boulevard with a bus stop close by providing access to Southend Victoria train station, Southend Pier and all the main amenities and shops on the high street. 

The Southend-on-Sea development is currently subject to planning permission, but it is our intention to construct independent living retirement flats for the over 60's.

The retirement apartments will be managed by a house manager who will oversee the running of the building including maintenance of the grounds and building. Key retirement living related features of the development will include a communal residents' lounge, a guest suite, laundry room and a lift that will provide access to all floors.

The perfect environment for those in retirement, homes in this retirement development will each contain a bedroom, living room, kitchen and shower room with level access shower and the option to change to a bath if required.
