Sherborne has plenty of activities on offer ranging from open air country markets and sporting events to arts lectures and antique fairs.  The surrounding countryside which set the scene for much of Thomas Hardy’s literary work, has many beautiful nature reserves, Woodland Trust woods and National Trust properties and gardens to explore.
