Newton Mearns is a small town located approximately 7 miles from Glasgow, in the East Renfrewshire area. It is a very popular residential area, due to the quality of housing available as well as the services and amenities available in the town.  

Transport links to and from Newton Mearns are excellent, with 2 railway stations serving the town as well as good bus links with Glasgow and Ayr. Road links are also good, as the town is located just off the M77 motorway which links Glasgow with Kilmarnock and Ayr.

The site itself is located in the new Greenlaw Village area of Newton Mearns, close to both Tesco Metro, and the recently opened Waitrose store. The area is currently undergoing significant development, which, when complete, will see 460 new homes built, plus a new medical centre, pharmacy, restaurants and a hotel.

The town is also well served by various leisure facilities, including golf and bowling clubs, plus a privately run leisure centre.
