The bustling market town of Newton Abbot is located in South Devon, in between Dartmoor National Park and the popular seaside resorts of Torquay and Teignmouth.  Home to one of the largest shopping centres in the county, the town offers a delightful mix of activities ranging from The Clock Tower tearooms to Decoy Country Park.

There are good transport links via Newton Abbot Rail to London, Penzance and the north, and excellent motorway connections.  Situated close to the A380 Exeter to Torquay road, Newton Abbot benefits from good road links, allowing access to the coastal towns of Dawlish; Torbay; Paignton and Exmouth, and the picturesque Dartmoor towns and villages such as Coldeast. 

Situated on East Street, the retirement homes will be close to the train station, the main shopping area and Market Square where regular weekly markets take place.  Not far away is Jetty Marsh nature reserve on the banks of the River Teign, Newton Abbot Racecourse, and the National Trust owned medieval Bradley Manor.

The Newton Abbot development is currently subject to planning permission, but  our  proposal is  to construct independent living retirement flats for the over 60's.

The retirement apartments will be managed by a house manager who will oversee the running of the building including maintenance of the grounds and building.  Key retirement living related features of the development will include a communal residents' lounge, a guest suite, laundry room and a lift that will provide access to all floors.

The perfect environment for those in retirement, homes in this retirement development will each contain a bedroom, living room, kitchen and shower room with level access shower and the option to change to a bath if required.
