This new assisted living retirement development would be ideally located in the town of Newport, Isle of Wight.
Newport is the main shopping area on the Isle of Wight, with recent developments including a new bus station with a retail complex hosting a range of high street shops and a new retail park on the outskirts. Assisted living retirement housing allows people to live in their own home whilst retaining their independence. Both the retirement flats and communal areas in the retirement property are designed to enable wheelchair users to live independently. The Estates Manager will oversee the running of the retirement development, and staff will be on site 24hours a day. Key assisted living related features will include a residents' lounge, laundry room, waitress service restaurant (or in the event of illness meals can be taken to a residents flat), function room and lifts that give access to all floors. One hour of domestic assistance is available each week and further assistance can be tailored to individual needs.
