McCarthy & Stone are proud to be launching this new approach to care and support ‘Tailored Care Living’ in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

With Tailored Care Living, flexible care and support is available to meet the differing and changing needs of residents; that could avoid the need to consider a move to residential care. This care and support is available 24 hours a day from our own on-site care team - YourLife Management Services a partnership between McCarthy & Stone and Somerset Care Group.

Tailored Care Living provides all the benefits of living in a supported environment but with no loss of independence or, importantly, status as a home owner. With Tailored Care Living, residents own their own apartment and therefore their capital remains invested.

Key features include a dedicated reception area, waitress service restaurant, function room, hobby and activity room with internet access, mobility scooter store, a hotel style residents’ lounge with conservatory and a well-being suite with hair salon, therapy room and assisted bathroom.  There will be a member of staff on duty 24 hours a day and the development will also have an on-site domestic assistance and personal care team.

The development will consist of 58 one and two bedroom apartments and is conveniently located on the corner of Church Street and Fitzalan Road, with easy access to the town centre. The site is now well under construction with first occupations scheduled for November 2011.
