In between Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent and Lewes, Crowborough enjoys good transport routes and a train station with links to Uckfield and services to London Bridge. Gatwick Airport is only 40 minutes away by road, and buses service the local areas of Jarvis Brook, Rotherfield and Poundgate, and further afield High Hurstwood, Boarshead and Friar’s Gate.

Crowborough is the highest inland town in East Sussex and residents benefit from marvellous views of the surrounding countryside. Known for its statue of its most famous resident, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the town boasts a good range of supermarkets and numerous small, independent retailers, restaurants and cafes. There is a farmers’ market once a month and plenty of activities on offer such as golf, walking, leisure centre and nature reserves. A new community centre is planned to open in summer 2012 with facilities for cinema, arts and theatre events.

Situated on Crowborough Hill, the retirement flats will enjoy a convenient position close to the town centre, transport and amenities. The Crowborough development is currently subject to planning permission, but it is our intention to construct independent living retirement flats for the over 60's.

The retirement apartments will be managed by a house manager who will oversee the running of the building including maintenance of the grounds and building. Key retirement living related features of the development will include a communal residents' lounge, a guest suite, laundry room and a lift that will provide access to all floors.
