The town is on the main line rail route to London Paddington, and lies 4 miles south of the M4 motorway. Regular bus services offer access to the major towns as well as some of the surrounding handsome limestone villages of Pewsham; Notton; Kingston Langley and Stanton St Quintin.
The assisted living retirement homes will be situated on Westmead Lane, very close to Chippenham town centre with all the usual retail outlets and amenities on offer. The development is currently subject to planning permission, but it is our hope to build assisted living retirement flats for the over 70's with scenic views of the River Avon and surrounding meadow land.
An Estates Manager will oversee the running of this Assisted Living retirement development in Chippenham, and staff will be on site 24 hours a day. Key assisted living related features will include a residents' lounge, laundry room, waitress service restaurant (or in the event of illness meals can be taken to a residents flat), function room and lifts that give access to all floors. One hour of domestic assistance is available each week and further assistance can be tailored to individual needs. The Assisted Living flats are designed to enable wheelchair users to live independently.
The perfect environment for those in retirement, homes in our assisted living retirement development will each contain a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom containing both a bath and separate level access shower.
