Planning permission has been granted for 45 one and two bedroom retirement apartments.

This is the first time McCarthy & Stone have developed in this Borough. Horwich is a vibrant small town, the site is very prominent on Chorley New Road, but is also close, to the high street which has a very good range of local and independent shops, as well as a Sainsbury’s supermarket. The town of Horwich is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton.  The town centre, which is less than a quarter of a mile away provides a range of shopping facilities, Banks, Post Offices and even a local market.
