Waitress Service Restaurant

A substantial midday meal is available everyday of the year at a modest cost.  In the event of illness, meals can even be taken to the resident's apartment.

Residents Lounge

Each lounge is elegantly furnished and is a popular meeting place away from the privacy of your own apartment.  It's proximity to the restaurant makes it a particularly appealing place following lunch where residents can retire and enjoy free tea or coffee from the facilities provided.  Most feature a patio area where you can sit out and enjoy the warm summer weather.

Function Room

Available for private functions or simply used as an extension to the residents' lounge.  Both are furnished to the standard of a quality hotel. 

There is also a computer with internet access installed.

Domestic Assistance

An hour of help is available every week as part of the service charge to assist with domestic chores, shopping etc, additional help can be purchased as required, for example to meet short term needs following a bout of illness.

Personal Care

This is available by arrangement with a locally appointed Care Agency.  Services can be tailored to meet the individual needs of a resident with the costs met by the individual.

Staff On Site 24 Hours

In addition to an Estate Manager, there is a team of Assistant Estate Managers who between them provide 24 hour cover on a development.

Mobility

Both the apartments and communal areas are designed to enable wheelchair users to live independently in any apartment and have unrestricted access to the communal areas. And for those with a mobility scooter, there is an internal store complete with charging facilities. There is also a lift service to all floors.

Guest Suite

Handy if you want additional help to put up visiting friends or family that may wish to stay overnight.  There is an en-suite shower room, a television and tea and coffee making facilities, just like a quality hotel.

Laundry Room

Incorporating a range of quality washing machines and separate dryers, which are conveniently raised for easy loading and unloading.  In many developments, the laundry room has become another popular meeting place.

Other Thoughtful Touches

Other useful and additional features of Assisted Living compared to a conventional retirement development include a bathroom with both a bath and separate level access shower.  There's also an electrically operated kitchen window for the convenience of residents.
